Residents at a Betws care home enjoyed a day of musicals to help celebrate Hug Day.
Cartref Annwyl Fan on Colonel Road, was transformed as staff and residents spent the day remembering the greats.
Hug Day - which has been running for eight years - was dreamed up as a way to have fun and bring residents and staff even closer together.
Eight years on, Hug Day has become one of the biggest days in the care calendar year for hundreds of people associated with Hallmark through a series of carnival-like celebrations.
The residents spent the afternoon enjoying a theatre performance by a local amateur dramatics group and the entire team dressed up to mark the day, in outfits ranging from Grease-inspired skirts to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’s Oompah Loompahs.
Manager, Adele Williams, said, “Hug Day is such a wonderful idea.
"Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the day and so did the team members.
"We are already planning our celebrations for next year.”
