Police renew appeal witnesses to Capel Hendre incident

POLICE in Ammanford are now treating an an incident involving a 12-year-old schoologirl and a group of foreign nationals as a public order incident.

The Guardian reported earlier this week how the girl – a pupil at Ysgol Bro Dinefwr – had been left in a distressed state after being chased by a group of men after alighting from her school bus in Waterloo Road, Capel Hendre.

Officers are now appealing for witnesses to come forward. They say the incident happened sometime between

4pm and 4.42pm on Tuesday, April 29.
