Ammanford Eisteddfod postponed

Ammanford Eisteddfod due to be held in the Miners' Theatre tomorrow (Saturday) has been postponed in view of fears of adverse weather.

Ammanford town clerk Miriam Phillips said: "The forecast shows very low temperatures on Saturday that will raise the possibility of freezing conditions and we felt the best decision would be to call the event off for now."

She added that the Eisteddfod would now be held at the same venue on June 22.
