Feast of fireworks across the Amman and Towy Valleys

Ammanford RFC are promising a night to remember when they stage the town’s annual fireworks display at the rugby ground on Monday (November 5).

The gates and clubhouse will be open from 6.45pm and the display is set to begin at 7.20pm.

“Ammanford RFC are delighted to host the fireworks display and thank the town council for its support and the opportunity,”

said a spokesman.

“We are extremely grateful to our small group of dedicated volunteers who have worked hard to put on the event, but also to the volunteers who work tirelessly on behalf of the club to ensure the continuity and sustainability of rugby football in the town.”

Entry, which includes a raffle, is £3 per adult, children under 12 free.

First prize in the raffle is a pair of tickets for Wales v Australia on December 1.

There will be a free family disco in the clubhouse.

Hot dogs, tea and coffee will also be available on sale.

● Llandeilo town council will hold the annual firework display at Cae William on Friday (November 2).

Gates will open at 5.30pm, the display will start at 7pm.

£3 for adults, £1 for children.

● Penygroes RFC’s fireworks display is on Friday (November 2) at 7pm.

The club is also laying on burgers, hot dogs and sausage and chips.

Entry is £4 for adults and £2 for children with a family ticket available at £10, which includes a free hot dog for the kids.

● In Llandovery, residents have been promised a spectacular display of laser lights, in a bumper firework display at the Llandovery College pitches at 7.30pm on Sunday (November 4).
