The Russians are coming to town!

NEXT month, the Russian State Ballet and Opera House is bringing the delightful ballet Sleeping Beauty to Swansea Grand Theatre.

Pyotr I Tchaikovsky’s classic will be sure to enchant audiences.

Composed in 1889 and still scored to his original music, Sleeping Beauty remains one of the most wellknown and loved ballets of all time.

First performed at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg in 1890, the story of Sleeping Beauty is one of romance and eternal love.

Today, the timeless tale continues to capture the imagination of its audience and inspire both young and old.

The world famous Russian State Ballet and Opera Theatre of Komi has delighted audiences since 1958. They are renounced for their ballet and opera masterpieces. The Russian State Ballet and Opera House have ensured that this classic ballet remains just as spell-bounding as it was when it was composed 122 years ago.

Sleeping Beauty promises to impress ballet lovers by showcasing the outstanding skill of 45 dancers.

The show will also entertain adult and child story-lovers alike with its vibrant portrayal of this classic tale.

Tickets are selling fast and are sold out in some venues, so anyone interested is being urged not to delay buying their ticket.
