Original production set to surprise and inspire
1:47pm Tuesday 14th August 2012 in What's On
KEEP Calm, the latest production by Amman Valley-based Mess Up The Mess, takes place in the beautiful location of Cwmoernant farm in Carmarthen on Saturday.
A group of young people have broken away from society in order to create their own utopian way of life on a farm.
This play takes the audience member on a journey around the world, where bit by bit the truth unfolds.
The finer details of this experience are a closely-guarded secret and only party to those who have chosen to be involved - expect the unexpected and dress for the outdoors!
Produced by Mess Up The Mess and directed by Elise Davison (Taking Flight Theatre Company) this play is set to be one of the most exciting and original youth theatre performances in Carmarthenshire this summer.
It is a culmination of a series of participatory and interactive workshops run by Mess Up The Mess for young people around Wales through the Act Now! Project funded by the Big Lottery Fund.
The workshops led to a sharing day in April where the groups of young people exchanged ideas and decided on Keep Calm as their summer performance. Performances take place at Cwmoernant Farm, Carmarthen, SA31 2EU at noon, 3pm and 7pm on Saturday. Please arrive 20 minutes before start time and look for the cupcake icon.
