Soap showdown for Brynaman's Scott

SEEKING PENANCE? Brynaman actor Alex Harries is back playing Scott Lewis in Pobol y Cwm.
WHEN actor Alex Harries, from Brynaman, left popular Welsh soap Pobol y Cwm last year, his character Scott Lewis was fleeing the village as part of an horrific rape storyline.
Ayear on, Scott is back in Cwmderi, with fiancee Izzy on his arm, and he’s ready to face his victim, Macs White.
“I think Scott wants to do penance. He says he has been through hell over the past year and wants to be punished for what he did, but on his own terms,” said Alex. “But I think that he is clutching at straws to think that coming home would give him closure.”
The tension will reach a violent climax on Tuesday (June 26) as Scott and Macs come face to face, and fist to fist.
According to Alex, the violent scenes were much easier than portraying the emotional turmoil of his character. “The emotional scene where Scott had to tell Izzy the truth was much harder,” he explains.
