Get set to race through the Amman Valley - in a wheelbarrow
WHEELS are in motion as the Amman Valley prepares for its charity wheelbarrow race.
The annual event sees teams of two – one inside the wheelbarrow and the other pushing – trek through the valley for six miles.
However, it’s not as tough as it sounds, because you will have the opportunity to stop off at each pub on the way for a pint.
The event takes place on July 12 at 12.30pm, starting at Amman United, Glanaman.
This year’s charity will be Hannah Rose vs Leukaemia.
Fancy dress, as always, is mandatory.
The race is open to over 18s only.
