CELEBRATING the 50th anniversary of A Hard Day’s Night, the Magic of the Beatles will hit Swansea Grand Theatre this spring.

The critically-acclaimed stage show has embarked on a nationwide tour celebrating the golden anniversary of the Beatles film, album and hit single – all of the same name – that propelled John, Paul, George and Ringo to worldwide stardom.

A Hard Day’s Night, the film, captured The Beatles at the peak of Beatlemania, the album and single established the Fab Four as the greatest group the world has ever seen.

Show producer Michael Taylor says The Magic of the Beatles recreates the group’s legendary live performances, and more. Taking you from their Mop Top roots to the psychedelia of Sgt Pepper and beyond, from Love Me Do to Let It Be.

“Fantastic costumes, brilliant vocals and incredible musicianship come together,” says Michael, “in a lavish magical musical trip back to yesterday.

“A Hard Day’s Night with The Magic of the Beatles celebrates the most exciting time in pop music history live and in concert.”

The show has entertained celebrities galore, including David and Victoria Beckham, Sir Richard Branson, Madonna and Guy Ritchie, Tiger Woods, Wayne Rooney, Gordon Ramsey and a host of other worldwide stars.

The Beatles’ film A Hard Day’s Night broke box office records, and is credited for introducing the concept of today’s pop music video.

It was filmed at a time when Beatles singles occupied the top five positions of the official American singles chart – a feat never to be repeated by any other artist.

Here in the UK, the Fab Four continued to top the UK singles charts that same year with Can’t Buy Me Love, A Hard Day’s Night, All My Loving and I Feel Fine.

The Magic of the Beatles claims to be the most comprehensive, most authentic Beatles on tour – even down to original guitars and amps used by the band.

The cast of the Magic of the Beatles have performed in America, Russia, China and all points between and is produced by the creators of runaway success The Magic of Motown.

“All you need is The Magic of the Beatles to celebrate the music of the most famous band in the world,” says Michael.
