THERE is still time to join in the panto fun with tickets still available for Swansea Grand Theatre's swashbuckling adventure, Peter Pan.

A superb cast includes international pop legend, Jimmy Osmond, who took Swansea pantomime audiences by storm two years ago in a record-breaking production of Aladdin; though this time Jimmy takes on the role of the villain - Captain Hook!

The youngest of the world-famous Osmond dynasty, Jimmy's love for musical theatre has seen him appear in the West End production of Grease and then go on to star as Billy Flynn in the UK national tour of the smash-hit musical Chicago. He has also appeared in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jimmy's Osmond's American Jukebox and the 70s musical Boogie Nights.

Back by popular demand, in his 15th pantomime at the theatre, is Swansea favourite, Kev Johns, as Mrs Smee. As well as his Breakfast Show, Kevin is one of Wales' busiest comperes and stage performers. Known as one of the UK's leading pantomime Dames, he has also appeared with The Wales Theatre Company and regularly performs with Fluellen Theatre Company. When Kevin is not performing he is an active fundraiser for local charities and is Patron of several local charities. He is also proud to be President of Swansea Male Voice Choir and Rising Stars Theatre Company and a number of other local charities and campaigns. He also follows his beloved Swansea City. Kev comments, “Ever since I saw a production of Peter Pan in the mid 90s I have wanted to play the Smee role. I am delighted to be working with Jimmy Osmond once again; he is an outstanding performer and an International star!”

The hilarious Liam Mellor, who was Buttons in last year’s Cinderella, is back playing pirate Starkey. Liam’s panto credits include: Muddles in Snow White, Simple Simon in Jack and the Beanstalk, Fannie Hard-up, an ugly sister in Cinderella and the Genie in Aladdin. Liam is delighted to be joining Qdos again for his 3rd season.

Gemma James, Cinderella in 2012/13, returns in the role of Tinkerbell. Gemma trained at Swansea Grand Theatre before going to the prestigious musical theatre college, Laine Theatre Arts. She is no newcomer to pantomime, having previously played the title rolesin several productions, including Snow White and Princess Jasmine in Aladdin. Gemma has also appeared on the Grand stage in several pantos, including Aladdin, in which she played the Genie of the Ring and Baby Bear in Goldilocks.
