West end hit Wicked comes to Cardiff

WICKED, the global musical phenomenon that tells the incredible untold story of the Witches of Oz, will make its Welsh premiere at Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff in March 2014.

The strictly limited 7-week season will run from Wednesday 12 March until Saturday 26 April, as part of the award-winning musical’s major UK and Ireland Tour. Wicked will form part of Wales Millennium Centre’s tenth birthday celebrations.

Based on the novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two girls who first meet as sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures in Oz will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Tickets will go on sale on Friday April 12, 2013 at 10.00am.
