How does it work?
Simply offer the lowest bid that you think no one
else will choose. The winner is the lowest bid that is unique i.e.
unmatched. Bids can only go up in multiples of 50p for example,we can
accept bids of £1.00, £1.50, £2.00 but cannot accept £1.01, £1.51, £2.01
etc…
How do I bid?
You can bid by telephoning the number that appears below the item
you wish to bid for or alternatively can text the WA code, leaving
a space then type your bid, name and contact details to 88010.
How much does it cost?
Calls cost £1.00. Texts cost £1.00
plus your standard operator rate. You will then pay what you have
bid for the item. For example, if you have bid £1.50 and
you are the unique lowest bidder, you will be expected to pay £1.50
for the item plus the cost of the call or text. Telephone and text
services are provided by Newsquest Media Group.
How many times can I bid?
You can bid as many times as you like and for as many items as you
like. When does the Auction close and how will I know if I’ve
won? The Auction closes on Saturday 22nd July 2006 at midnight. Winners
will be informed on Monday 24th July. Winners will then be published
the following week.
