ON Saturday, October 13, at the Aelwyd hall, Brynaman, Amman Valley School of Dance will take part in the first-ever Ultimate Dance Challenge.

The dance group will put on their dancing shoes and boogie for five hours to help children around the world to survive their vulnerable first five years.

Five hours will be a long time to dance but the dancers are all up for the challenge, knowing that they will make a difference to these children. With a mix of dance styles, to include line, zumba, freestyle, street, cheer and rock ‘n roll it will be a great dance party with something for all.

Every year 7.6 million children under five die from easily preventable causes like pneumonia and malnutrition.

Save the Children is working to stop this happening and to ensure more children live to celebrate their fifth birthday and beyond, no matter where they live.

If you would like to join in this event or sponsor the dancers please contact Ronnie Fortt-Mitchell at Amman Valley School of Dance on 01269 822308.
