Cartoon role for Ammanford school boy Ben

A PUPIL from Ysgol Gyfun Rhydaman has been chosen to voice the main character in S4C’s newcartoon series, Ben 10.

Ben Thomas, 11, has been busy voicing the series at Tinopolis’ production offices in Llanelli.

Ben 10 follows the exciting adventures of Ben Degwel, who discovers a strange alien device inside a crashed meteorite.

Janet Aethwy, series producer, said: “Ben’s voice and character suits the role of Ben 10 perfectly.”

Lowri Heseltine, a 15 year-old Ysgol Gyfun Maes yr Yrfa, Cefneithin pupil, provides the voice for Ben’s cousin Gwen.

The series begins on July 23 on Stwnsh – S4C’s service for children and young people.
