Harness racing at Tairgwaith

THE May Day Bank Holiday will see the welcome return of Llangadog races – the oldest harness racing meeting in the UK, dating back to 1884. The event will take place at Tairgwaith all-weather track on Monday, May 7.
The first race will start at 1.30pm, with 70 entries spread over six classes. Admission price – £8 for adults, under-14s free. Call the secretary Steve Mitchell on 01558 650620.
