Discover estate at outdoor weekend

DINEFWR park and estate is gearing up for the Great Outdoors Weekend on Saturday.

The beautiful National Trust property will be the setting for activities designed to get people outdoors and closer to nature.

Environmental engagement officer at Dinefwr Iestyn Thomas said: “Last year we held a Great Outdoors Day which proved so popular we have decided not just to host something similar this May, but to add newactivities, too.

“The whole weekend will be a great chance to take part in outdoors adventures. People can come and have a go at activities such as tree-climbing, archery and problemsolving games.

“If you bring a full change of clothes you can have a go at building and sailing your own raft on our millpond. The weekend has something that all ages can take part in.”

The Great Outdoors Weekend takes place until Monday. Full entry charges apply, with additional costs for activities.
