A LOCAL group called Love Ammanford, part of the Just for the love of it organisation, meets once a month at the Imagination Coffee Shop, Wind Street Ammanford.
The idea of their meetings is to improve our society by sharing information and skills and unwanted or surplus items. Love Ammanford try to keep the skills we have alive and bring back some lost ones.
In our present economy many people are finding that they are missing the community of old, this group is helping to rebuild a caring and skilled community.
As part of this effort, there will be a skill-sharing day on Saturday, March 17, with a demonstration of plant propagation, some basic clothing repairs and other interesting skills.
