TO GET you in the festive spirit, Pontardawe Arts Centre have once again joined forces with Class Act Theatre Productions to bring you Aladdin this winter.

Come and join Aladdin, WidowTwankey and the rest of the cast for a magical carpet ride, a song and a dance and plenty of laughs. With something for everyone don’t miss this enchanting family show with all the fun and frolics of a traditional Christmas pantomime.

Aladdin, Widow Twankey’s son, is trying to better himself so that he can marry the girl of his dreams, Princess Jacquetta.

The pantomime stars 15- year-old Ashley Rogers, from Pontardawe, in the title role.

It will be his fifth pantomime appearance and he said he is determined to bring this much loved role to life.“Aladdin is a great role to play as I get to fall in love with a beautiful Princess and save the day for everyone else — except Abanazaar of course,” he said.

The performance will be directed by Jill Willliams and written by Georgina Scannell. You can catch Aladdin at Pontardawe Arts Centre from Tuesday, December 13, to Thursday, December 22, (not Sunday).

School performances are also available on December 15, 16, 19, 20 and 21 at 2.30pm.

Tickets priced at £4.50. All other performances are priced at £9 standard £7 concessions.
