AFTER the resounding success of their last production The Happiest Days of Your Life in March, Llanelli’s Phoenix Theatre Group feels that next week’s offering at Theatr Elli will provide audiences with an evening of comic chaos and a delightfully entertaining and pleasurable time in the theatre.

The choice of the classic comedy based on the Oscar Wilde short story Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime is sure to prove an ideal antidote of laughter before winter sets in.

Visit next week’s production at Theatr Elli and join Arthur, the embodiment of the perfect English gentleman, in his desperate quest for victims and murder weapons in this delightfully witty and elegant costume comedy which has been adapted for the stage by Constance Cox.

The group is especially pleased that the ever-popular Ken Thomas is making a welcome return to play the part of the dotty anarchist and there’s a host of regular Phoenix players making up the cast including Kathryn Creel, Ruth Williams, Ann Capel and Katy Lewis.

The Phoenix Theatre Group’s comedy plays at Theatr Elli next Thursday until Saturday. Curtain-up nightly at 7.30pm and tickets cost £7.50.

Reserved tickets can be bought from the box office on 08452263508 or from George Lewis at 5 The Market Precinct, Llanelli.
