IT’S a glamorous night out that’s always a scream – international female impersonator Ceri Dupree is back by popular demand for an evening like no other at Ammanford Miners’ Theatre, next Thursday, September 24, with latest show A Night At The Music Hall.
Packing more glitter and glam than a Shirley Bassey convention at The Ritz, A Night At The Music Hall is an evening of song, laughter, outrageous stories and some of the most fabulously extravagant costumes. With a shake of the tail feathers – not to mention those in his boas – Ceri Dupree stars in this fabulous journey from music hall right through to modern day, rolling out a series of amazing tributes to the most glittering ladies in show business. And, if Ceri’s renditions aren’t breath-taking enough, Humphrey James will leave audiences on the edge of their seat with nail-biting, impossible feats including an attempt at the famous Chinese water torture escape made famous by Houdini. This superb show also features the talents of Corrin Cassini singing several saucy numbers, and Gary Perez on the ivories.
A Night At The Music Hall really captures the essence of good-time music hall variety shows with a difference. Book now to avoid disappointment! Tickets, priced £7 - £10, are available from the box office: 0845 226 3510.
