A TRULY talented guitarist and performer, Richard Thompson is also hailed as one of Britain’s finest songwriters, having written generation defining songs like Meet on the Ledge in the 1960s.

A founding member of Fairport Convention, Thompson has since found success as a solo artist with a unique mix of rock and traditional music.

His career has flourished and he has become one of the UK’s most respected musicians.

Richard Thompson plays at Pontardawe Arts Centre on Monday, July 20.

Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.30pm, cost £20 and can be ordered from the box office.
