CARMARTHEN’S celebrated Mark Jermin Stage School is set to present its own lively and fun packed version of Disney’s High School Musical.
The production boasts a cast of more than 200 local children ranging from four to 19-years-old.
These include a number of television actors and actresses including 17-year-old Emily Tucker as Sharpay.
Emily, who plays temperamental teen Sioned in Pobol Y Cwm, has been rehearsing for High School Musical, alongside her filming schedule for the past few weeks.
Emily Tucker has also played Leigh Ann in BBC Wales’ High Hopes, and Rhian in the penultimate series of Belonging.
Other members of the Carmarthen cast are currently studying dancing, acting and performing arts at Gorseinon College and Trinity College. The show will be performed at the Queen Elizabeth High School, Johnstown from Wednesday, July 15, to Saturday, July 18, at 7.30pm with a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm .
For tickets call Mark Jermin Stage School 01792 45 88 55.
