folk-punk legends Levellers appear at Pontardawe Arts Centre on Thursday, July 9, from 8pm.

The band released Letters from the Underground. The album conveys the passion, energy and conviction that shot the band to fame in their early years. With an ever-changing music industry the Levellers are at the forefront of the industry. They are the perfect role model for other bands trying to find their way in today’s music scene having released their own records, bought their own building/ studio and started their own sell out festival, Beautiful Days. Levellers have ignored fads, fashions and trends, and in doing so existed alongside them.

The original line-up still plays with a passion that, having seen off many of their contemporaries, is setting a standard many young bands find hard to match.
