20 years after his debut album ‘You’ve Come a Long Way Baby’, Fatboy Slim has announced that he will be coming to Cardiff as part of his ‘In The Round’ tour early next year.

Norman Cook, otherwise known as Fatboy Slim, has been regarded as one of the worlds biggest DJ’s for 2 decades and has remained a favourite since his return in 2013.

As well as holding the Guinness World Record for the most top 40 hits under different names, the Brighton- born DJ has also won ten MTV Video Music Awards and two Brit Awards.

His success, however, has not halted as this summer alone he played 162 meters above Brighton in the i360 pod and headlined El Row in London’s Olympic Park.

In his newly announced tour, Slim is aiming to create the UK’s biggest dance floors by turning UK arenas into unique night club experiences.

The crowds should expect a big production, rave ushers and a live smiley face experience, as well as a central revolving stage that will mean no seat in the house will be far away from the famous DJ.

Slim went to twitter to announce the news: “the biggest tour I’ve ever done…I’ll be slap bang in the middle of the dancefloor, so I’ll be right up close to you all every show”

Fatboy Slim will be coming to Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on February 23 2019 and tickets go on sale Friday, September 7 at 9am.
