Celebrate St David’s Day with world class tenor Paul Potts and special guest Natasha Marsh.

Paul Potts, the first ever Britain’s Got Talent winner and multi-million selling singing star with a biographical movie to his name, will achieve a first this Spring, when he takes to the stage in his hometown of Port Talbot for a St Davids Day Concert.

In 2013 his memoir ‘One Chance’ was published as a companion to a film of his life by the same name, which starred James Corden in the leading role.

Since then he has won legions of fans and gone on to perform all over the world; only last year he took on two full length opera roles for the first time in his professional career.

Paul is about to release perhaps his most ambitious release yet, On Stage, a collection of songs he’s been inspired by or performed in leading roles – from Broadway to the West End – during his extraordinary career.

Paul said: “I spent months listening to so many powerful songs and discovering which ones I really connected with. I also had my professional opera debuts last year in London and in Szeged in Hungary.

"I had great fun in performing the roles of Cavaradossi and Steersman in the productions of Tosca and The Flying Dutchman, and it would be remiss of me to not include pieces that I have performed ‘on stage’”

You can catch Paul at The Princess Royal Theatre, Port Talbot on Thursday, March 1 at 7.30pm.
