AMMANFORD is set to take a leading role in an exciting Christmas show with a unique twist- the town is the stage.

Mess Up The Mess Theatre Group are back with another original take on a traditional festive show, taking Christmas out of the theatre and instead using various spaces around central Ammanford to tell our story.

Ho Ho No! The Trials of Christmas has been created by writer Llinos Mai and young people from the company and is a contemporary re-writing of A Christmas Carol.

Its Christmas time in Ammanford, but all is not well. Father Christmas has disappeared, Rudolph thinks he’s a dog and the overworked elves are threatening to go on strike.

Local businessman Christopher St Nicholas is taking full advantage by selling toys and gifts at his aptly named shop “Snow-ver Priced”. The locals are beginning to wonder if Christmas really is such a magical time of year after all.

Will Father Christmas be found? Will Rudolph ever remember his past as a reindeer? Can the elves save the day?

Or will this be the end of Christmas forever?

The show is taking place on December 11, 12 and 13. The audience will meet at Ammanford Arcade at 7.20pm for a promenade performance. All the venues are accessible and some seats will be provided in all areas. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather on the day.

Tickets are available in advance through Ticket Source via ticketsource.co.uk/messupthemess or by calling 0333 6663366 (£1.50 fee applies).
