YORKSHIRE folk duo Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow are set to perform 30 micro gigs in 30 real ale venues.

Travelling in their trust old camper van the duo will be stopping off at The Chattery, Swansea on October 3 as part of their Summat’s Brewin’ micro tour.

Known for their exquisite harmonies, sublime musicality and cheeky northern banter, the duo will perform a new show of contemporary and traditional drinking songs in celebration of real ale, real music and real people in really intimate venues.

Belinda O’Hooley and Heidi Tidow are accomplished interpreters of everything from Massive Attack to traditional Irish ballads, but it’s their own boundless songwriting and exquisite harmonies that truly shine.

Their new album The Hum, produced by Mercury nominated Gerry Diver (Sam Lee’s A Ground of its Own) is receiving high praise from Radio 2, 6 Music and the national press, with The Guardian hailing it as ‘One of the albums of the year.’ They have the originality and skill to invite comparison with the folk scene’s most celebrated North American harmony duos, from early Simon and Garfunkel to the iconic Kate and Anna McGarrigle.

Lyrically and musically, Belinda and Heidi’s powerful, deeply moving, and at times spine-tingling performances are infused with an honesty and empathy that will disarm even the hardest of heart.
