In 1973 a record was released which would bridge the generation gap and become a rock anthem to both young and old - '20th Century Boy' was written and composed by Marc Bolan.

Bolan, with his band T.Rex, was one of the most flamboyant and charismatic of the original glam rock era.

Bolan's Rock-a-Boogie songs made him a household name throughout the 1970s and a rock and roll legend.

T.Rextasy have now been performing around the world for over 20 years, a career that ironically out lives Bolan’s own.

The band is accepted as the world’s only official live tribute band and the only one endorsed and approved by Marc Bolan’s family, estate, original ex-members of T.Rex, and Bolan’s catalogue management.

The band has been described as ‘beyond the boundaries of tribute’ and was awarded the accolade of The Best Live Tribute Band in the UK by the BBC.

T.Rextasy will be appearing at Swansea’s Grand Theatre with the show I Love to Boogie on Friday, August 28.
