The Ffwrnes in Llanelli is hosting the 2013 Edinburgh Fringe critically acclaimed show, Je m’accuse – I am Marcus.

Broadcast and comedy favourite, Marcus Brigstocke, is having an incredibly successful year and will be bringing his critically acclaimed autumn show to Llanelli on Friday, September 19.

Talent spotted in 1996 when he won the BBC New Comedian Award at the Edinburgh Festival.

The comedian has now secured his position as a major comedy, writing and acting talent, performing to sell out audiences around the UK and at international comedy festivals.

Including an 11 night sold out residency at London’s Soho Theatre earlier this year.

He said: “Je m’accuse – I am Marcus. Podium dancer, oil rig worker, food addict, musical theatre enthusiast, posh, eco-hypocrite, ex-Goth, muppet fan, award-winning comedian and chief beverages operator at the Little Chef – screw politics! Let’s talk about me.”

BBC Radio 4 has become somewhat of a second home to him with regular appearances on The Now Show and Just A Minute.

He has notched up an impressive list of TV credits including team captain on Argumental (DAVE) and the host of BBC4’s The Late Edition and I’ve Never Seen Star Wars.

With appearances in the West End and toured with the award-winning hit musical ‘Spamalot’ where he played the role of King Arthur to much critical acclaim.

Earlier this year he took part in Channel 4’s Winter Games entertainment show, The Jump.
