BANKS Mary Florence Beloved wife of the late Leonard Banks, devoted mother of Elizabeth, Richard and Julia, a dear mother - in - law, much loved grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, who fell asleep peacefully on Friday 27th January, 2017 at the age of 96. The family would like to express their grateful thanks and appreciation to the staff at Parc Wern, Penybank, Ammanford, where Mary spent the last three years of her life. Alzheimers robbed her of so much, but the kindness, care and love that she received at Parc Wern was wonderful, and the staff became like a 'second family' to her. Grateful thanks is extended to the Reverend Canon Sian Jones who officiated at the funeral which took place at Llanelli Crematorium on Monday 13th February, 2017. Also to Mr Keith Lewis, Funeral Director of David W. Watkins Funeral Services, for his kind help and guidance in arranging Mary's funeral. Thank you also to the staff at the Plough, Rhosmaen, for the lovely Afternoon Tea. The family wish to extend their sincere thanks for all the sympathy and kindness shown to them at this sad time.
