BOWEN Marcus Never giving up his fight, on Saturday January 23, 2016, peacefully in the loving arms of his family, Marcus finally moved on to a better place. Beloved son of Maria and Jeff, much cherished brother of Jade and deeply loved by everyone. A Service of Celebration will be held on Saturday January 30, for all family and friends at the Chapel of Rest, Bwtrimawr, Betws at 11.00am followed by burial at Ammanford Town Cemetery. At Marcus’s request a celebration of his life will follow at ‘The Pick’ (Ammanford Social Club) Also at Marcus’s request, formal clothes are optional but please ensure you include something Welsh/Red. In respect of Marcus’s wishes, please make any donations, if so desired, to the “Teenage Cancer Trust Cardiff” in place of sending any flowers. These can be kindly received by Hywel Griffiths and Sons, Funeral Directors, Bwtrimawr, 39 Betws Road, Betws, Ammanford. SA18 2HE.
