Caerbryn have been crowned division one champions.

This came after a robust 3-1 triumph over Ferryside at the Coleg Sir Gar.

The Ferryside win followed a promising 3-0 midweek victory over Bancffosfelen and confirmed Caerbryn's position at the helm.

From the onset, Caerbryn showed vigour, portraying excellent football with Tim Chapman causing significant alarm down the flanks for Ferryside.

It took only fifteen minutes for Fraser Williams, ably assisted by man of the match Sean Howells, to shatter the impasse.

Williams, a perpetual nuisance to the Ferryside defence, scored the first goal of the game.

Ferryside's attempts to claw their way back into the match were met with a steadfast defence, with Ben Ledger putting on a robust performance.

Captain Lloyd Bevan presented multiple opportunities via strategic through balls and set pieces that failed to be converted, leaving Caerbryn entering half time with only a one-goal lead.

Determined, Howells helped doubled the lead soon after half time, assisting Oliver Dymond to notch his 14th goal of the season, with Howells on his second assist.

Despite a quick counter-attack that shook Caerbryn, substitutes Kian Evans and Kyle Wells were brought in and their immediate impact saw Wells hiking the score to 3-1.

This, coupled with the staunch defence and relentless energy from substitutes Math Howell, Matt Warnes, and Liam Jones, solidified Caerbryn's victory.

As the final whistle blew, Caerbryn's promotion to the Carmarthenshire Premier League, a first in the club's history, became a reality in front of jubilant fans.

What team manager Darren Dowley and his boys achieved was indeed momentous, ending the season as champions of the Carmarthenshire League Division 1.

Switching our attention to the Carmarthenshire League Reserve Division 2, Caerbryn Reserves met the league leaders, Pontlliw Thirds, at home, on the back of a convincing 5-2 victory over Pwll Reserves.

Caerbryn took the lead with a fine goal by Kieran Jones after 16 minutes, only to be equalled by a corner kick from Pontlliw in the second half.

The match levelled out under the searing afternoon, with substitutes Chris Williams, Josh Davies, Aled Saunders, and Kosta Demchyshyn rebalancing the game for Caerbryn.

Kieran Jones's second goal capitalised on a slow back pass, sparking off wild cheers among the home supporters.

Spectacular saves by Nathan Craven, helped resist numerous attacks by Pontlliw.

Dylan Thomas and James Kitt-Griffiths remained resilient in the centre-back positions, repelling Pontlliw's attempts.

The game concluded with a 2-1 victory for Caerbryn, carving a delightful end to a magnificent match.

With two home matches left for the Caerbryn reserves, the team seems hopeful in earning more points to elevate their standing on the table.

As this successful season comes to an end, the club expressed gratitude to all parties involved – players, coaches, fans, sponsors, committee members, and volunteers.

They have jointly contributed to the club's success, which would not have been possible without their endeavour and commitment.
